When you sign in with Google, we request permission to access your Gmail inbox in read-only mode. Specifically, we access:

  • Email metadata (sender, subject, timestamp)
  • Message body text
  • Attachments (e.g., invoices or receipts)
  • Labels or filters (optional)

We do not access, use, or store your contacts, calendar, or any other Google services.

3.Why We Access This Data

We use Gmail access solely to:

  • Search for financial-related emails (e.g., invoices, receipts)
  • Extract information such as amount, sender, and date
  • Display this data in a private dashboard for your personal tracking

This data is used only to provide the functionality of the app and is never sold or shared with third parties.

4.Data Storage & Security

  • All data is stored securely using Supabase and protected via industry-standard encryption.
  • Access is strictly tied to your authenticated session.
  • You can revoke data access at any time by disconnecting your Gmail account.
  • We never share your data with advertisers or analytics providers

5.User Control

  • You are in full control of your data:
    • You can disconnect your Google account anytime
    • You can request to delete your stored data by contacting us hello@mctyson.io
    • We respect your Gmail settings, including deleted or archived emails

6.Third-Party Services

  • McTyson uses the following services to provide and improve our platform:
    • Supabase (for authentication and database services)
    • Google OAuth (for account login and permission-based access)
    • LemonSqueezy (for billing, if applicable)
  • These services are compliant with modern data security standards.
